Star Treks Captain Kirk Run for Prime Minister of Canada?

There are media reports that Star Treks Captain James Tiberius Kirk may enter the Canadian Political Arena for a run for Prime Minister. One can be certain a lot of political parties will want him onboard their ship, as Trekkies on both sides of the Canada/US border number in the multi millions, which is a lot of votes and PR for any political party who would salivate at the bit to beam him aboard .

If William Shatner made a political tour across Canada, surely a media and public frenzy would ensue to rival and outshine Obama’s pre election Rock God Status. The only difference would be the Voting masses attire would be so bizarre as to defy logic.

Parents would rejoice, while their thirty something kids are out Campaigning for Captain Kirk, it would allow Parents to finally clean their basements and change the locks on the door of their home.

One thing for sure, Captain Kirk aka William Shatner’s popularity never wanes and would surely see a mass exponential increase in voting numbers across Canada as Trekkies for the first time ever would finally leave their parents basement and hit the polls after decades and decades of isolation.

One wonders what a Star Trek Captain Running Canada would be like?  Canadians, “Set your Phasers on Stunned”!
